Construction Unit: livi poultry farming equipment supplier
Project Scope: Construction of a 10,000 layer cage poultry farm in Ghana
Project Timeline: 3 months
Project Description:
The 10,000 laying hen cages project in Ghana is a large-scale agricultural project aimed at increasing egg production on client farms.
The project involved the construction of a modern poultry farm with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. The farm was designed to house 10,000 laying hens in layer cages and produce approximately 1.2 million eggs per year.
The project was implemented by livi machinery, a leading poultry equipment manufacturer and supplier. The company provided all of the necessary equipment and materials for the farm, including layer cages, feeders, drinkers, and manure cleaning systems. LIVI poultry equipment manufacturer and supplier also provided technical support and training to the farm staff to ensure that the farm was operated efficiently and effectively.
The project was completed on time and within budget. The farm is now fully operational and producing high-quality eggs for the Ghanaian market.
Project Benefits:
Increase breeding capacity: The use of laying hen cages allows customers to maximize the breeding of laying hens in limited chicken houses. According to the customer's chicken house size, up to 6,000 chickens can be raised without using layer cages. A-type laying hen cages are used so that 10,000 laying hens can be raised. Breeding volume increased by 67%.
Increase egg production: Before using laying hen cages, the customer's farm egg production rate was 70%, which means that 6,000 laying hens can produce 4,200 eggs. Nowadays, using laying hen cages, an egg production rate of 85% can be achieved, and 10,000 laying hens can produce up to 8,500 eggs per day. Benefits have doubled compared to previous growth.
Reduce egg breakage rate: It turns out that the customer raised laying hens on the ground and pecking each other, resulting in an egg breakage rate as high as 6%. After using laying hen cages, the breakage rate is less than 2%.
The 10,000 layer cages project in Ghana was a success for both livi poultry equipment manufacturer and supplier and the client. The project was completed on time and within budget, and the farm is now fully operational and producing high-quality eggs for the Ghanaian market.
